PU enamel is a different formulation category. Birla Opus Calista Sparkle PU is positioned around enhanced resistance, faster drying and non-yellowing performance for specified metal, interior wood and interior masonry applications.

WHERE ENAMELS ARE USED
The enamel top coat is only one part of the system. Surface preparation and the correct primer matter just as much for the final result.
Enamels can be used to give suitable wooden surfaces a decorative, smooth and durable finish. The exact preparation system depends on the condition and type of wood and the selected product.
Metal surfaces generally need careful cleaning, rust removal and the appropriate primer before enamel is applied. The right system helps the finish look cleaner while providing the protection expected from a metal coating.
GENERAL APPLICATION FLOW
The exact process, primer, thinning ratio, number of coats and drying time vary by product and surface. Always follow the selected manufacturer's instructions.
Clean the surface thoroughly and remove dust, grease, rust, loose paint and other contaminants.
Sand the surface as required to remove loose material and create a suitable base for the coating system.
Use the appropriate primer for the surface and selected enamel system before the top coat.
Allow the primer and any intermediate coats to dry for the period specified for the selected product.
Apply the selected enamel according to the manufacturer's recommended application and thinning instructions.
Allow the final coat to dry and cure properly before putting the painted surface back into regular use.
